Because You've Had Enough

What has attracted me to the third party candidates this year is mostly what I believe are bad policies from both candidates. I'll post more on that later. But, there are other reasons. Michael Merritt is taking the plunge into the world of 3rd parties because of his disgust of their campaign tactics. He's supporting Bob Barr:

So, both McCain and Obama have disheartened me greatly. They both lie, and both treat the first amendment with their own brands of contempt. What do I do in such a situation? Do I hold my nose, vote for one of them, and hope for the best? Do I just not vote? Do I hope the situation gets better so nose holding is required?

His post was part of what inspired me to create this blog. He goes on to argue why the "your wasting your vote" argument is a lie. I'll post my thoughts on that later.
